a day of warning and not of many words
Ye are not sent out to be taught but to teach. Let every man be sober, be vigilant, and let all his words be seasoned with grace and keep in mind that it is a day of warning and not of many words.Joseph Smith

Why I picked this quote?

This statement was made to some early traveling missionaries for the Church. It is a good reminder to current and future missionaries that they don’t need to be great orators to be effective instruments in the Lord’s hands. Joseph Smith’s advice is for missionaries to work hard, to treat others with kindness, and to preach the pure and simple truths of the gospel of Jesus Christ.
